  • Dent is a former monastery converted to restaurant. Its peculiarity is that each part of the old buildings works as a different restaurant. From specialty in fish, meat, grill... Breakfast is great with breakfast until the two (indeed a brunch) and menus to choose to do so. An environment to outdoor, overlooking the Valley of la Orotava, tranquil and beautiful. Breakfast price from 12 euros. It is bad to eat, the restaurant Mirador is very nice but is very expensive and its value. Our experience in this regard was very bad, we pay an excessively high count and dishes left a lot to be desired. There is a small animal farm that will delight the children. And the galiinas can be loose when it comes to breakfast. If you get fear choose one indoor premises.

  • Business frequented mainly by Germans. I'm not sure that is exactly located in the port of the cross but rather in Los Realejos, in any case it is an ideal place to go as a couple, with friends or with children. tasty meals with Anglo-Saxon touch. Spectacular breakfasts. Views of the port and of the Orotava unbeatable and over have a kind of farm with guy that scamper and make of this experience unique.

  • We ate wonderfully in your precious site. I will come back safe. Very good value for money. Very cheap compared to the peninsula. Must place in Tenerife

  • Realy nice location just a shame that the food and service is well below the standard for this price class infact it is well below the standard for any price class.
  • The "Monasterio" is a beautiful place. Rustic and luxurious at the same time. The food is above average, I particularly like the oven sausage sold by the meter, though there is much more sophisticated meals to be had. The breakfast is very good too, offering great variety. The whole place is worth a visit and if it's just to wander around and have a look at the animals, most of which are free range. You'll encounter chickens running around the tables all the time. I go there often and I've never regretted it.
  • Great location and nice food.
  • Beautiful old monastery converted into several themed restaurants. The terrace "El Mirador" has a fantastic view to the Orotava valley and the ocean, and a great selection of food and desserts. One of my favourites is the chicken liver salad, followed by the banana flambe. Beware, portions are large! They also have a fisherman's restaurant with some great seafood dishes (try salmon on the volcanic stone, cooked at the table), a cave where you can dine amid old wine barrels, a little fondue chalet, and so many other spaces it's really a labyrinth. Behind the restaurants there is a lovely garden and a little farm with chickens, geese, rabbits, a couple of ponies and lots of peacocks. I love it that you can walk around as much as you like, hang around in the garden or poke your nose into all the little rooms, even climb on the roof where the monastery bells are, and nobody gives you any trouble. It's a perfect place to enjoy a relaxing afternoon.
  • There are 4 places to eat here. The grilled cuttlefish was a little better than other places, but not worth the higher price.
