  • It was the second time I was going. I admit that I loved the first and drawbacks I found... but this time it was the opposite! I did because I took some friends from Madrid so that they know it. We arrived at 1300 hours... and bought the entrance to 13:20... always have to go with time. As we were walking they decided to get together with the next visit, esto don't had seemed poorly if we had habisado! We were waiting 30 minutes to enter... waiting in the visitor center while the guides we looked and smiled without saying anything to us! I do not complain because he did not want that after the visit they did wrong and have the party in peace... So we went with the next group... and the explanations were null and void! You walk through the cave and not explain anything while you're running... just stop at 4 points and give you a brief explanation. Is there is not always answers to all questions that we can make the visit... but not worth that guide me answer my question: "your what I want to ask in the background is this another..." is when you go and you loose the learned discourse. Be more ahead I'll be back... hope I get not to disappoint.

  • We were a very small group and the guide was very patient in explaining the details of the drawings and the rock formations. Very informative. I had no problems with the online purchase of tickets.......  more »
  • We were able to visit the cave with its paintings and engravings with what that represents to someone like me who deeply admires our ancestors. The magnificent Guide, maintained the high interest even in people who were just going to hang out. Take advantage to go with children, learn much and if you can complete the visit with a guided tour of the Museum of prehistory and archaeology of Santander.

  • Beautiful cave. 40,000 years ago, the impressive paintings on made hands. Very exciting. Recommend book by telephone at least 1 or 2 days in advance, especially during high season. We had a guide good quality (Susana), explained everything with a simplicity and a passion that excites you. I recommend to combine with a visit to the cave of coins. Beautiful perspective the geological, with breathtaking estalacticas, stalagmites,... And also has beautiful paintings. Highly recommended and a good rain or gets very hot.

  • You should call before you go just in case, but outside the summer often have site to enter, explanations depend on the Guide and the group, if the Group pays no attention, the guide goes, I have never had problems. Absolutely recommended.
