  • The cave is a 1km drive up a switchback road from the village. I hadn't bothered to book as it is mid October and was able to get tickets. I had looked at the website before to check guided tour times...  read more »
  • Located a 3-minute drive from Puenteviesgo, the cost of the ticket is €3. It includes guided tour and it takes around 1 hour. The best paintings that have.

  • To see these 40000! YEARS old original pictures is a unique sensational adventure!!!
  • Spectacular cave. Very well preserved and a very interesting and entertaining journey. Excellent guide, explained everything in detail without being nothing, very nice and good jokes. People exaggerate with the resvalarse. Cave does not slide, in winter it is normal that the filtration of the water is it wet and areas where you can slide, has but with sports and with care is this perfectly. The cold is not to die for. Was 15 degrees and I was going with jacket and shorts. There are people very exaggerated. 10!

  • Hello. I was visiting the cave of March 22, 2016. This cave is the first who you are when you get to the Hill of the Castle, and is where they get tickets, it is advisable to remove them in advance since the groups are reduced. More cold that coins, is more dry and less slides ago in this cave. Geologically is more simple than the coins, but has somewhat more than paintings. The guide is bound to show us the way, and point out the paintings, showing little interest, did not seem to be training about the cave, what he did than the previous one I had seen (coins) I seem much better.

  • One of the most important European sites regarding the cave painting. Guides on site who follow you in the visit are prepared. A must visit if you are around here. Please note that you must book in advance online.

  • Impressive paintings but with a poor and disappointing explanation. The Guide has been limited to keep the paintings with a laser pointer and say which animal is. Without explanation of any kind. Not scored with a star for the quality of the cave.
