  • The Roman Villa of Fuente Álamo is an archaeological treasure of first level. It is a sample of "live" of the passage of different civilizations throughout history, although the Roman period was the most important. With an architecture based on the utilization of the water of the stream that gives it its name and enough pavement of geometric character as figurative upper villa is considered in very high esteem and worth by archaeologists and historians around the world. Of course it is must-see for colleges, institutes and schools in general. The visit consists of multimedia viewing, room exhibitions and visit to the site. It may be done for free but it is very advisable to do it in guided tour group (explanation and interactivity with the archaeologist who says the visit is a joy).

  • Don't you think that these mosaics can be there so many years as, if anything, very nice, learn how lived before the Romans, for people who like the ruins is a visit necessary, a bit small, but keep in mind that it is a village.

  • A pleasant visit to understand the occupation and the economy Roman in Andalusia from the beginning of our era. In the middle of an olive grove, the excavation of two levels of occupation of a same plot, first as a Centre for recreation and bathrooms and then as agricultural villa, gives clear idea of how evolved the use of those lands. Good mosaics and an interesting interpretation centre. Beautiful views from the site overlooking diverse populations and several mountain ranges, and also a tower of surveillance of the reign of Abderramán III, against the rebels led by Omar ibn Hasfsún.

  • Very interesting archaeological site visit, with some very well preserved Roman mosaics.
