  • Must-see for the Pathfinders of Toledo. Among the several churches, you find the Mezquita del Cristo de La Luz and can spend a good time there.

  • The place is also known as the Basilica of Santa Leocadia. There took place the first councils of Toledo. Some very important as the third in which the King reccared I abdicated from the Arianism. Also famous for the well known legend, in which two young commit against the Cristo de la Vega and four years later the crucified Christ testifies in favor of marring young. Leaving perplexed all the concurrent pronouncing the "If you swear" and desclavando its right hand to put it on the Bible. This legend inspired Zorrilla to write his famous book "A good judge best witness". Beautiful chapel although a little abandoned. I believe that the institutions of Toledo is should more involved in recovering the building and promote the attraction. According to the person responsible for opening, of course very attentive and friendly, less people are increasingly that come to visit it. If they arrive and is closed, call the phone and open them, so they can see the monument. You must visit for lovers of history and literature.

  • In the ancient Visigoth Basilica de Santa Leocádia, was erected the Ermita del Cristo de La Vega, or Christ's fallen arm, whose legend recounts the questioning of a promise of marriage made a bride, who, upon being questioned, claimed by the testimony of Christ, who, in the affirmative, he dropped his arm. The small church attracts many engaged couples who believe that to conduct their wedding there for sure will stay together.
