Take a step back in time to the Ice Age era with a visit to Mammoth Museum. The site pays tribute to our human predecessors through a series of paleontology exhibits. Life-size replicas and prehistoric animal skeletons line the Gothic gallery, along with reproduced cave paintings and Ice Age relics. Touch, feel, and smell the real tusks and teeth of a mammoth, and tour through ivory tusk carvings from all over the world. The museum has a special section of activities, drawings, and puzzles that caters to children, and self-guided tour books are available in many different languages.
