  • Both mine and your entire environment and the center of interpretation, which is very educational and easy to understand. He guides, excellent.

  • I think that Eugenia was our guide. It is not that he is only a formed person when it comes to illustrate the entire process and history of exploitation of this interesting open-pit mine. This is someone who not only knows what speaking but possesses extensive knowledge of biology, geomorphology, Botany, history. And all this without that all such data, so aggregate sometimes in another context, we can be tiresome. On the contrary, make the visit very enjoyable and quite natural. Thus the different levels of the mine tour is flies. In addition is free. There are two hours of view: at 10 and 12.

  • Yesterday we were visiting in the mines of the Jayona and it is the second time that we are going. This single time I can say that I would not CURRENTLY recommend this visit. The main reason is that, by produced landslides, is currently closed to the public all levels except the 4 mine, is a 300 meters terrace that well, although it has its charm, does not have the spectacular nature of the levels below run through the inside of the well and than before if they were open. The visit lasts 2 hours, which since only only you can see a small part of the mine, is elongated "artificially" guide with so many technical and so repetitive explanation that one sincerely wants to finish as soon as possible. Obviously, if for the "older", becomes boring, for children is unbearable. Like all the things, the adequacy of mine is budgetary issue, so I don't think the current state to last "a couple of days". I do not mean by this that the mine not worthwhile, is a unique environment, but for those who already knew it, it falls short. It is recommended that before you go, let's ask that levels are open to visitors, if you say that only the 4, you know what it is.
