Cala Xarraca, Portinatx

Categories: Beaches, Nature & Parks, Outdoor Activities
Inspirock Rating:
3.1/5 based on 260+ reviews on the web
Cala Xarraca is a secluded bay where you can tan, snorkel, and enjoy the beach. The beach is broken into two small bays. The first bay has a strip of soft sand with pebbles at the waterline. Walk around the rocks to get to the second little cove, which is much rockier but also quieter, with clearer water for snorkeling. Water shoes are highly recommended, as there is quite a bit of coral and pebbles. Watch out for jellyfish, which can be common here. If you notice any jellyfish, or if you see the locals avoiding the water, it may be best to enjoy the beach from the sand. There is a restaurant very close to the beach, as well as a place to rent beach chairs and umbrellas. Plan to see Cala Xarraca and other attractions that appeal to you using our Sant Joan de Labritja trip builder.
