Teatre Ròma, Port d'Alcudia
Categories: Ruins, Tourist Spots
Teatre Ròma offers a peek at Roman life in 123 BCE. You can see remains of an amphitheater, the forum, and residential homes. This Roman city was built away from its port to lessen the danger of pirate attacks. As you walk out to the theater, you’ll get a sense of its significant size, as the most important Roman settlement on the Balearic islands. Be prepared for sun and heat during the summer. Take a look at our Port d'Alcudia trip itinerary planner to schedule your visit to Teatre Ròma and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.
