  • The interpretation centre of Campo Lameiro (about 25 kms from the town of Ponte Vedra) is an area of Mount acoutado at the top of the hills of Campo Lameiro where if you think the most important set of prehistoric petroglyphs and best "musealized" of Galicia and probably in the world. Rock carvings of labyrinths, cérvidos, horses, can see along two well-signposted paths spread across more than 5 shows. The building of interpretation offers interesting insight into the historical step nail and info on various aspeitos of prehistoric culture in Galicia.

  • Highly recommended visit to see petroglyphs, I recommend making the guided tour, explain to see it much better and also make it very entertaining mostly to keep the children entertained. At the end there is a reconstruction of a village to get an idea of how it was. At the end of the tour we followed the route that came on the map and then we saw the interpretation centre, there is a picnic area if you want to eat.

  • In recent times interpretation centres has grown like mushrooms, and my experience as visitors has not always been happy. This is not the case of the PAAR, the first Archaeological Park of Galicia, a restless installation with a very diversified activity where the interpretation is performed with a remarkable teaching skill and fun way. Well documented, entertaining and suggestive, the exhibition of this Center is a real pleasure. Your media is excellent and the expository narrative helps us understand both the cultural landscape of the Neolithic, and the discovery and investigation of the Galician rock art and rock art represented in their petroglyphs. Made the visit to the Center - 5 euros - is access to the archaeological site using a circular path, measured in time and effort, and suitable for all audiences. A delight.
