Quiet and overhand, located at the end of a long walk (walking, bus in summer service hours or by car outside these dates) and surrounded by two rivers - two bridges - and full of nature on its four sides, it presides over the top this monastery, (slightly reformed) inside which you can visit. The slope that leads to the same is something hard to do (once in the road bridge), and once up, with an eye already at the monument, another uphill small (much shorter and more comfortable) just beside a more than grateful bar to relax or rest. Careless posters report environment. There is a post of security and control at the entrance. Surrounding the monastery to see the second bridge (worth seeing) with small jumps of water and various hiking trails.

This is the prize that awaits if upload walking since the beginning of the natural park Fragas do Eume up above. "I have no intention to go walking, I have no right to award?" Yes, if you have it, so unfair is life. But be warned that the satisfaction when you get will not be as much. So at first, is sensed the merit that had carried the stones to the location of the monastery, most knowingly with "weather" the way recorded already in your legs and in what year it was built. And Furthermore, better not tell you more. "That's what you're going to tell me?" Of course, so I give you a reason for you to stay at one of the guided and which the kind guide tell you historical and curious facts about the place and its transformation. "Is that I don't much like the guided tours..." it's free!

If you've not booked, "early bird", you have to be the first row at 11 in the morning opens. It is also when fewer people you'll encounter along the way. We took an hour and a half to go and return, but gave us rush to enjoy well the way I recommend minimum to rent bikes two hours. The road to the monastery is beautiful, in the middle of nature, there are bridges and does not give too much sun, so it is perfect for not to scorch in summer. Electric bikes help much at the slopes and it makes really nice ride. The monastery is very nice also, a highly recommended excursion, both couples, friends, family or the company that you want more.
