  • Is well preserved thanks to the restoration of the Deputación da Coruña. You can visit throughout the day, there are guided tours. There are several hiking trails start from here. The view of the Fragas is fabulous from the top of the Hill of the monastery. There is a canteen that offers good products in a comfortable facility, although it is not always open.

  • Very well preserved monastery and restored... the best are the guided tours that you can ask for access to certain abitaculos of the monastery which only come with guided tours...

  • The environment is already, in itself, a marvel and the monastery is not at odds. It is a magical place and is well preserved. The trip is worth from Pontedeume to enjoy the landscape, environment and the monastery, where you can also eat something...

  • Un lugar de obrigada visita nas Fragas do Eume. Durante os meses de verán non é posíbel chegar co coche, pero a Deputación da Coruña pon un servizo de autobuses gratuítos
  • I like this place, because it is a spectacular place. A walk along the river Eume to monastery of Caaveiro. It is unforgettable

  • MAGIC! for those who want to enjoy the Fraga to foot access from the Town Hall of A Capela. A trail of half an hour through the park that ends at the monastery (the back is uphill)

  • It isn't bad, the best without a doubt is the natural location. Important, if you are on foot, and you want to use the free bus don't forget take your tickets free at the interpretation centre, since then you can not upload to the minibus. Many people take the disappointment of having to do the 8 km between the monastery and the parking on the return trip.

  • I love this area, the monastery is nice but being situated in the midst of this incredible forest full of history and mystery, it makes it special.
