  • Only €2 of ticket, and you enter another world: a Museum really magnificent, just realized, with the latest technology, occupying the entire buildings of what was one of Europe's largest coal-fired power. The path is really well thought out, with many multimedia screens, 2 panoramic lifts, and all you need to understand and see first hand all the machinery by which here they produced electricity. Note especially the video testimonials of many workers who explain to visitors how it worked.

  • If you intrigue by the process of producing electricity through coal, don't miss it. It is a typical early 20th century industrial building

  • A factory Museum made with loving care, fantastic transformation. A good taste for decoration and respecting the essence of the factory. It is interactive and very fun. Well deserved award for best international Museum 2015. The narrations of the former workers will help understand the hard work that had.

  • I liked a lot because visits him thinking "what can I see interesting in an old thermal power plant?" and you end up happy. The reason, in my view, has to do with the mounting created there. It is very beautiful, very entertaining, super interesting history and personal it is charming. Very, very recommended.

  • It should visit El Bierzo and go to the energy Museum. Thus began the world as we know it, gathering coal, water and metal to create the magic of electricity. Endesa was born in Ponferrada. But long before, this amazing thermal power plant of the MSP already working at full capacity. Every detail, each handle and thermometer, the locomotive that presides over the Assembly, take us back to a world that seems fictional. Be in the boiler room moves, and more to hear the stories of the people who are earning life there inside, acuciadas by the intense heat and noise. Walking among the machinery and reach the control room is the culmination of an unforgettable journey. For children and adults. A tale of industrial soot, steam, and fire. Choose guided tour: magnificent! And then go through the cafeteria to discuss the experience. Its terrace in summer on the banks of the Sil is a luxury to anyone.

  • Very interesting this museum. Very didactic and perhaps too technical for the public. Therefore need to be guided. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays to the 13.30 and 16.30. Lasting 1 hour. Call to be sure of it.
