  • Great visit! (Especially for free on Wednesdays). Take a stroll along the wall and climb the towers. Neat exhibit of books and information about the Middle Ages, Templar Knights, and warfare. You can also walk down to the river and see a different view of the castle. While here, make sure you walk up to the Plaza de la Encina to see the statue of the Templar Knight and the Virgen in the Oak.
  • Beautiful place to visit. The castle is so well preserve with all it's libraries, the dungeons, etc. That one has the sensation of feeling of the Middle Ege's life
  • This 12th century castle is a real treat for tourist. Amazingly preserved, it looks over the river 50m below.
  • A place incredible. The castle is amazing with its library about templars, but you can also enjoy the (small) old city, hanging around....
  • This classic castle is a special treat for anyone with a interest in the fascinating warrior monks, the Knight's Templar. The walls are built in a style to allow archers to shoot down through the many openings.
