  • One of them places of visit forced in Plasencia. The ticket €4 with the audioguide included. The most interesting is the cloister, Chapterhouse, the altarpiece by Gregorio Fernández and choir stalls. For those who do not like you much art can comply with see it from the outside, since both the façades of the new and old cathedral and the Tower of the Melon, you can see without spending a penny

  • It is the union of the old cathedral and the new, from the 16TH century has two precious Renaissance facades of plateresque style, with three naves, in its interior is the altarpiece of the 17TH century, dedicated to the Virgen del Sagrario and also the Gothic choir stalls.

  • Two cathedrals in one of different centuries and styles, one more austere than the other and a faculty that allows to observe the union between both and dede where access to the Tower of Melon or San Pablo Chapel. The ticket costs only €4 with audio-guide and if you have right to access input (many concepts), will cost you half. Central and with a good visit schedule: from 9 to 13 and 16 to 18 from Monday to Saturday and Sunday open morning schedule pen. That Yes, can not take pictures inside, except in the cloister.

  • The lady who believes that this Cathedral is far from being a pastiche should consult the dictionary. But if it is just that, a beautiful pastiche in itself. It has also the best classical baroque altarpiece of Spain, by Gregorio Fernández.
