Very well renovated and in a forest.

Baltasar García Perez-SchofieldBenedictine monastery abandoned in the Ribeira Sacra. At present, have undertaken several times tasks of restoration, with different success outcomes. Nevertheless, it is a site that is worth a visit, as the ruins are still very full. The views are breathtaking, and it is easy to imagine the monastic life in such a place. The road end on an Esplanade where it is easy to Park, although it is not very crowded, even on holidays.
Amaya ArteagaA charming special, quiet, magical place. The man who sells tickets (1 euro per person), very nice, gave us information about the area.
Celso C.Must visit if you go to the Ribera Sacra. Charged entrance but the amount is almost symbolic. Beautiful surroundings. Spectacular architecture.
