Parish of very famous because it is the chapel of San Fermin Pamplona. Very nice. It is the most popular for weddings, communions and baptisms. Very sentimentally attached this parish to the Pamplona

To be the Church where the remains of San Fermin (Pamplona pattern) are kept, he expected to be a spectacular Church. Frankly it is not but the opposite can be described as normalita. If you're curious to know the pattern of parties most famous perfect Spain in case contrary not waste your time in visiting the city.

The truth is that both the architectural appearance of interior art has much to highlight. It is the chapel of San Fermin, which is newly restored and is pretty, but already I say, nothing to do, for example, the Cathedral, that if that is worth visiting.

  • Lovely church on the edge of the historic center of town. There is a side chapel with the statue of San Fermin in it. This is the statue that they parade around town, and the chapel is highly desirable as a wedding site. The interior is suitably ornate, with a quite air of solemnity about the entire place.
  • Nice, close to the park, old stone building
  • San Fermín, according to tradition, was born in the Roman Pamplona at end of the fourth century (Pompaelo). His family converted to Christianity, and he was ordained a Bishop with 24 years. He left for Gaul, (France) to spread the Gospel. He was martyred at Amiens and decapitated. Subsequently his remains were sent back to Pamplona, where enjoyed great veneration by the Franks settled in the primitive city. Are celebrating their day on 10 October, but the date was changed to July 7 by the adverse weather in the autumn. Thus, your new date coincided with several shows of summer that bullfights were held. Hence, its subsequent evolution to our dear San Fermin Festival today.

  • Parish wide and large beautiful inside and out, especially historic because it is where San Fermin are kept throughout the year

  • It is a Catholic church built in the 14th century. The chapel of San Fermin, where is the co-patron of Navarra, is the most valuable architecturally, nowadays. Initially it was Baroque, is rebuilt and gave him neoclassical forms, was rebuilt in 1989, wanting to give their former Baroque air. It is worth visiting the Church, it is very nice.
