  • A small artificial town, enclosed by a wall. This city, which actually honor a Museum is built in 1967 by the architect D. Fernando Chueca Goitla. Shown is the compilation of famous Spanish buildings which were built here detail. As examples, the Plaza Mayor of Madrid, the Barcelona delegation Hall and the Golden Tower in Seville should be listed. In addition, the Spanish village houses a museum about the history of agriculture. Those who are interested in Spanish culture, in particular for building culture, is right in here. Small Wermutstropfenm, it is too artificial. Well, a bit more quirrliges life would do the whole. Do well would it also the existing small boutiques and souvenir shops, as well as the offered folklore demonstrations. The shops are however closed on Sundays and public holidays. Quite nice, you can sit on the Plaza Café and snacks. A big plus - plenty of free parking space available.

  • An absolute must see in Palma. You can explore the typical architecture from all over Spain in just an hour walk
  • Restaurants are closed. The buildings are nice but I rather visit the real ones. It's very empty.
  • Used to be a better place before. Still interesting to visit and see the houses.
  • Great please but my feeling is that is not kept as well as it should be. Map is a bit confusing, putting a reference number on the buildings would help strolling around. Definitely worth a visit but probably not with high expectations.
  • This is basically an artificial architecture amusement park. Dunno if it's low season but is dead. I love architecture so still worth seeing but is fake buildings, like an architecture shell with fake balconies and decorative facades. I got ideas for my architecture hobby. But there are rooms that are falling apart with moisture. If you find a room that's real behind a door is full of office trash and old paper. Based on this is NOT WORTH the 6 euros

Where to stay in Palma de Mallorca

To experience the heart of Palma, opt to stay in the the inner ring of La Avinguadas street, where lies the historical city center. The mostly traffic-free district is filled with beautiful island architecture housing boutique hotels, historical restaurants, and lovely plazas, and is only a short walk from the city beach and port. The Santa Catalina neighborhood is another popular option for accommodation as it is well known for its restaurants, daily market, and close proximity to the city's main sites. Just east of the city center is Portixol, a beachside neighborhood that still retains its charm of an old fishing village. For a small town beach atmosphere, stay along Platja de Palma, the beach stretching east of the city center.
