  • Beautiful underwater inhabitants in stylish aquariums. Pleasing to the eye and for the nervous system to go and look at this colorful splendor and diversity. Good Aquarium schedule summer at midday, when on the beach and in the heat, and in an aquarium a pleasant coolness. Kids just love it!

  • One excursion not to be missed going in Palma de Mallorca, is the one at the Aquarium. Large, well developed, organized and with so much personal, Palma was one of our first goals arrived in Palma. A wide variety of fish and attractions, as well as entertainment for the youngest guests, make it a structure. The shark boatpoi, it really is an attraction not to be missed. This is a hike of about 10 minutes, which provides, through a special glass-bottomed boat, to visit a spa with beauty by ben 11 sharks inside! Equipped with all the comforts and facilities (cafeteria and restaurant, bathrooms equipped with changing tables for babies, beautiful boutique and picnic area and playground theme) the Palma Aquarium and an emotion you don't get lost!

  • We fancied a laid back day, so decided on a trip to the Aqarium. Plenty of diversity with people of all ages enjoying the animals and fish. Animals all looked happy and well looked after, which was gr...  more »

  • When we read in the folder this was the most visited place in Europe we had high hopes. Entrance for one person costs nearly €25. When you walk in as a couple they give you no time to put your things away but instantly make a picture. When you walk through the whole thing it is wide enough for all the people. Making pictures is nearly impossible. The kids stick to the windows like glue. No way you can get a picture without hands or heads on them. Even if there are no kids certain aquariums are to blue for telephone pictures. The camera starts to trip. When we got to the restaurant we couldn't sit down, because all the tables were taken. And to all the parents stop banging on the heels of other people with your buggy (the transport for kids who can't walk). Thank you. There were a lot of animals to see and we enjoyed watching them. At the end there was a gift shop with really nice things.
  • This is definitely a superb aquarium with a nice storyline and modern educational factor for kids. You will see very well maintained facilities and healthy inhabitants inside. Highlight is for sure "The Big Blue" the shark tank, don't miss the feeding ceremony there. Very nice playgrounds outside for the kids after activities. Of course it's very busy during high-season, but isn't this usual for such places? Go early, or go late afternoon and it's manageable.
  • Excellent place. For children big and enjoying place. For eating 60 minutes of waiting was too much may be because of weekend and special day and after that 8 euros of French fries is bit expensive. Else overall a nice experience.
  • Quite small we completed it in about an hour so not good for a full day out. Food and drink are very expensive. The animals are great and there's lots of information
  • Absolutely amazing. The 3 & 5 year old grandsons loved it. As well as the aquarium, it has a cafe/restaurant, kids indoor soft play area and lots of play things outside. Lovely gardens to walk through with open top tanks with turtles and koi in. An Amazon forest and a lovely gift shop.

Where to stay in Palma de Mallorca

To experience the heart of Palma, opt to stay in the the inner ring of La Avinguadas street, where lies the historical city center. The mostly traffic-free district is filled with beautiful island architecture housing boutique hotels, historical restaurants, and lovely plazas, and is only a short walk from the city beach and port. The Santa Catalina neighborhood is another popular option for accommodation as it is well known for its restaurants, daily market, and close proximity to the city's main sites. Just east of the city center is Portixol, a beachside neighborhood that still retains its charm of an old fishing village. For a small town beach atmosphere, stay along Platja de Palma, the beach stretching east of the city center.
