Palau March Museu, Palma de Mallorca

(4.3/5 based on 170+ reviews on the web)
Explore the exquisite rarities of Palau March Museu, which hosts an expansive assortment of art and books acquired by Bartolomé March, a renowned collector and avid bibliophile. View contemporary sculptures, centuries-old nautical maps, artistic book bindings, rare manuscripts, and fine paintings, all set in what was once the March family home. The small private museum is perhaps best known for its elaborate nativity scene from 18th-century Naples. The colorful display, which features over 1,000 hand-painted pieces, fills an entire room. Head to the top of the building for superb views of the city. Continuous exhibitions of art in its interior. Exhibition of sculptures in their outdoor patio with views over Palma incredible. When you visit the old Palm, a stop at the Palau March is essential after visiting the Cathedral which is just to the side.
