  • The Museum is free, is located in the Centre of Palma. It is well looked after and the exhibits are very interesting to Miro Picasso going through interesting works by Spanish artists. Recommend for anyone who is in Palma

  • Lovely Art Deco building, and gardens. The art was mostly not to my taste but maybe I'm in a minority!?  more »

  • Wonderful exhibitions in a modern, clean quiet, and air conditioned building. Includes art from Picasso and Salvador Dali. It's also free entry!
  • I have visited many well respected museums, but this museum is by far my favourite. The collection is incredible and so is the museum itself, as it is very spacious. It has calm atmosphere, it isn't crowded. If you are in Palma I would highly suggest visiting this museum!

Where to stay in Palma de Mallorca

To experience the heart of Palma, opt to stay in the the inner ring of La Avinguadas street, where lies the historical city center. The mostly traffic-free district is filled with beautiful island architecture housing boutique hotels, historical restaurants, and lovely plazas, and is only a short walk from the city beach and port. The Santa Catalina neighborhood is another popular option for accommodation as it is well known for its restaurants, daily market, and close proximity to the city's main sites. Just east of the city center is Portixol, a beachside neighborhood that still retains its charm of an old fishing village. For a small town beach atmosphere, stay along Platja de Palma, the beach stretching east of the city center.
