  • A nice visit to the Diocesan Museum of the bishopric of Mallorca. The visit is linked to the Cathedral. Very interesting Museum to learn about the culture and art of the island. Is worth mentioning the importance of Gaudí in the creation of this Museum, with the blessing of the Bishop Joan Campis i Barceló. Your visit is worthwhile.

  • Visit it is advisable next to the Cathedral of Palma. Environment fantastic and highly recommended to immerse themselves in the culture of the Mallorcan authors, among others.

  • Well worth spending some time here to watch the very helpful and informative videos and associated animations of the project undertaken by Gaudi to restore the Cathedral, before actually visiting. Als...  more »

  • We had a great surprise when visiting Palma de Majorca. On March 2016, there was an exhibition explaining the work of Gaudi at the Palma de Mallorca Cathedral and also his work at the Sagrada Familia Basilica in Barcelona. Gaudi was really one of Spain's best architects in all its history.
  • Mostly in Portugese and Spanish, sometimes English explanation. Would have been a better experience if all plates had the English translation.
  • Diocesan Museum of Christian art Mallorca. Liked, bought a ticket to the Museum of the Cathedral, it turned out, you can visit 3 Museum is located in the Bishop's Palace, which is located behind the Cathedral from the East. Stunning sea and harbour views!

  • Great forgotten Museum of Mallorca, probably because the diocese concentrates all its efforts in the Cathedral. Completely renovated a few years ago. Interesting collection of religious art, of course emphasizing the Sant Jordi de Pere Niçard. Today it houses an exhibition which value the troubled intervention of Gaudí in la Seu and the Campins bisbe-sponsored. Another strangely ignored aspect of our artistico-religiosa history. As a curiosity, if observed the maritime facade of the Museum from the walls in the area of calle Miramar, appreciates the modernist lattice of a window of the Museum, made during the stay of Gaudí in the island.
