  • Good little music club with live music. Of course, the prices for the drinks are a bit more expensive but it doesn't cost admission and the bands have to be paid. The service was very friendly and accommodating. We were there twice in October, the bands were very good. Unfortunately, the music was unbearably loud one time, so we had to walk with ringing ears.

  • Spent 45 minutes squashed onto a little table , but what an atmosphere , superb band , yes the drinks are expensive but it is in a major city after all , yes the staff are a little off hand but what t...  more »
  • This place is tiny and the night we happened in the band was fantastic— appears that it changes nightly. We had a fantastic time— very small dance floor but we managed— don’t know how in the world the...  more »

  • There seems to have been a misunderstanding when it came to naming this poor excuse for a jazz club, as the music on offer was nowhere near the genre (unless you take into account the 80's video playing on a small TV in the corner). While I respect the musicians that played on the night, their various rock cover songs were not exactly what we were looking for. Let me note that "we" was a group of about 20 people looking to have a few drinks while we listened to some good, smooth, soulful music. Now, we can forgive the lack of jazz on offer, as the musicians were rather talented and were in fact putting on a half decent show HOWEVER, the manner in which the staff and owner treat their patrons leaves much to be desired! As mentioned, there were a group of 20 of us, of which about 16 were indeed purchasing the ridiculously over priced drinks (try 6 Euros for a bottle of water!), and we were all ready to settle into the performance, subsequently buying more drinks, but this was not enough for the house bully (read waitress) as she proceeded to harass those of us that were not interested in drinking, rather just enjoying the show, and insisted that the if we weren't drinking then we were not welcome, which did not go down well with the rest of the group. Despite us trying to reason with her that 16/20 paying customers was better than 0/20, she was having none of it, and decided things needed to be escalated to the top dog, her 5'0" 60-something year old boss, who reiterated that, if he was not going to get 20/20 paying customers, then we were not welcome. To you sir, I say well done for such a fine display of business acumen and customer service, and I'll be interested to see how long your business survives with such an approach. As a passing note, I must say I feel sorry for the band on the night. What started out as a near packed venue (it's a relatively small, cosy venue that the 20 of us near filled to capacity) was reduced in a matter of seconds to the handful of salty locals (half of which weren't drinking either, clearly they knew to avoid paying such prices), along with the club bully and top dog. It must be hard for acts to be denied an audience and gain exposure in such establishments. Not so jazzy after all.
  • The place is really small. The drinks are not expensive and the live music is quite good. If you want to spend a quiet ans cosy evening. It's a good place to start.
  • Perfect little bar for live music! The band was amazing! We had so much fun!!
  • Nice spot but quite touristic and wildly overpriced drinks. Good bands on now and again but they need to sort out pricing
  • A really nice place with good atmosphere. The only issue is the lack of seating
