  • A half-day dream, calm and relaxation... Located in height, outside the centre of the city, the House of Miro and his wife Pilar became a Museum in all its glory. The view is wonderful sea, of course... There is a large garden with sculptures, but not all of Miro, the works of other artists are also exposed. There are 3 buildings. The first is the museum itself on two floors and is very spacious, with very many paintings, sculptures and other works of Miro. It opens on the garden. The second building was the workshop of Miro painting on the ground floor. Everything is still as when he worked there. There are everywhere started paintings, tables with colours and paintbrushes and a gallery upstairs to look at the works from the second floor. The third House, to achieve this, you have to climb a bit, and what a view... Miro was another workshop, to experience the art... There is also a restaurant on the premises in order to relax before returning...

  • Very nice! Great architecture, fair price, great art in a beautiful setting. Takes about an hour to 90 minutes, so perfect for a very hot or a rainy afternoon. The café belonging to it can be recommended too!
  • Beautiful museum. Great artworks. Lovely architecture.if you like miró's art, this is a must!
  • Very nice museum with excellent expo of miro's work. Light in the museum through marble windows is absolutely stunning. Free parking.
  • Nice place for Joan Miro fans 😊 Nice to see where he lived and his workplace.. Amazing view.. Plan your visit on Saturday, its free entry 😊
  • We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves, being late in the season. The gallery was splendid and it was quite interesting to see the space in which Miro worked and lived. Still no need to scribble on the walls though I feel 😉
