  • The reviews that describe the fantastically beautiful ambience do not exaggerate a bit. This bar seems to have originated from a Greenway movie. The cocktails are also not overpriced, 16-17€ is not too much. Unfortunately, they are just grotto, unimaginative and boring. The Especial Abaco is a lovelessly cobbled-together plover of fruit juices and fueful alcohol with chunky ice cubes, the Argentinia (or so) the same, only so strong that every aroma falls by the wayside. Not only the quality of the cocktails, but also your dosage stands in stark contrast to the decoration of the bar.

  • The location is wonderfully furnished with a lot of love. It's a pity that the cocktails are so boring and old-fashioned. Without special touch or idea. They taste silly and lame. The staff is bored and busy taking pictures of the guests, despite the photo ban. The concept is clearly outdated and therefore it is not bad if the venerable Abaco becomes a hotel with hopefully a good bar. The cocktail mixer would have enough time to attend a training course.

  • Lovely atmosphere, interesting location and great cocktails. Maybe a bit pricey and hard to get table at times but overall great experience.  more »

  • It is a very beautiful and impressive building, but that's it….. The waiters are bored and annoyed by the clientele. The clothes are just as old as the gentlemen themselves. Either the suits have been washed too hot, or the gentlemen have grown properly. The lighting is far too bright, the LED projectors under the ceiling are more reminiscent of a hall and not a bar. The music: It sounded like the music was played with a sink and not an audiobox. An attempt was made to sublime the ambience with classical music, which was also completely successful. The music was totally inflationary, the constant change of music (in the middle of the song) and the turning up and down of the volume underlined the superficiality of this place. The toilets: urgently need a renovation. When I stood at the urinal, I had the strange feeling of being in the toilet in a station bistro. On the upper floor ... better said on the way there, the carpet on the stairs should be cleaned. Some carpets on the first floor were very nice ... maybe 150 years ago. They belong in the trash. You can not get this dirt out anymore. The cocktails and we had four of them, were not good at all ... no they were not, not exclusive enough, they were just bad and very expensive. Again the feeling to be in a station bistro. The gawking tourists, who hit the door squeaky and hard (no, it was not on the oil, it was none of it) made the pleasant atmosphere of a cheap station bistro go by……
  • This place is unreal. The food is beyond fantastic and the service is amazing! The gentleman attending to us was super friendly and taught us some Spanish while we were there. We ordered via recommendation and no regrets what so ever. Would definitely come back and recommend to all.
  • A place to get away from it all. A step back in time, but still well maintained. It's a bit pricey but look at it as a museum as well as a cocktail bar. I wished their drinks could have extended past cava and cocktails as I don't drink either so it was hard to find something to drink. Would certainly return for a special occasion.
  • Definitely an outstanding, unique and amazing location and just a blast to sit at the fireplace and enjoy a cocktail. BUT - to be fair and honest - the cocktails are really bad. Like - really bad. Watery, cheap straws, cheap alcohol ... an old lemon as decoration etc ... as a group of Four - we had 8 different Cocktails in total and all 8 were really bad
  • A fantastic old style bar in Palma city. The whole place and the area are attractive.
