Banys Arabs (Arab Baths), Palma de Mallorca

(2.6/5 based on 600+ reviews on the web)
A unique piece of history is waiting at Banys Arabs (Arab Baths). Check out these baths dated from the 10th century, and they’re virtually all that remain of the Arab city of Medina Mayurqa. Historians believe the baths were once part of a nobleman’s house. The structure is a dome with interior columns and round windows. If you take a close look at the columns, you’ll notice each of them are different in size. Outside, enjoy a moment of peace in the secluded garden. You can even have a picnic lunch here if you bring food and drink. To visit Banys Arabs (Arab Baths) and other attractions in Palma de Mallorca, use our Palma de Mallorca travel itinerary maker.

  • It was a visit to repeat, at the box office were super attentive, the entrance was €2.5 but disabled loa and over 65s went free. Wonderful Arabic architecture and beautiful gardens, even had a machine of soft drinks in order to sit in the garden and take a coca cola or water. I liked it a lot.

  • An exciting experience with an antique bath with a beautiful, peaceful and tranquil garden all around. Well worth the visit.

  • There are a few rooms, but they're pretty beautiful and ancient, a quiet garden where you can relax. The entrance fee is 2.5 €

  • There is not much left of the old bath. But it is a beautiful place in the vivid city, we spent some time in the garden enjoying the calm atmosphere.
  • Small place, althought there is not do much to see, you can take a seat nad relax on garden. Worth it :)
  • Lovey, interesting place with a cool, tranquil garden. Only small, won't take more than 15 minutes to see it, but worth it nonetheless, and you can linger longer in that garden.
  • You kind of have to use your imagination in picturing it a thousand years ago in operation. You should also get that "old building" smell as the breeze passes through it.
  • A hidden gem worth discovering.
