  • The Cathedral, found me beautiful although there is a but I have to mention and it is the cost for access, talking with locals mentioned that to enter to pray they had to pay, the truth I did not correct, although I understand that it is their way of protecting and improving the facilities.

  • «Who goes to Santiago and not to el Salvador, visits the servant and not the Lord.» You know, visit the Holy Church Basilica Cathedral Metropolitana of San Salvador de Oviedo is obligated, both if you're Catholic or not. It is a beautiful, Gothic Temple, of a single Tower, located in the historical centre of Oviedo. It has a highly recommended tour, which includes the Holy Chamber, from the 9TH century, declared world heritage by Unesco and is home to the most precious of the Cathedral jewels: victory and los Angeles, the box crosses of the agates and the Holy Ark, containing a large number of relics such as the Holy Shroud.
