  • Personally I didn't like it, not that much old than any other I've seen before. A ticket is required, but you may be able to squeeze in during the mass time.  more »
  • A stunning visual experience. Even if you are not remotely religious, the art and sculptures take your breath away.  more »

  • «Who goes to Santiago and not to el Salvador, visits the servant and not the Lord.» You know, visit the Holy Church Basilica Cathedral Metropolitana of San Salvador de Oviedo is obligated, both if you're Catholic or not. It is a beautiful, Gothic Temple, of a single Tower, located in the historical centre of Oviedo. It has a highly recommended tour, which includes the Holy Chamber, from the 9TH century, declared world heritage by Unesco and is home to the most precious of the Cathedral jewels: victory and los Angeles, the box crosses of the agates and the Holy Ark, containing a large number of relics such as the Holy Shroud.
