  • This was one of the first places that a friend and I visited the place in Oviedo, having parked just off after being on Mount Naranco. We went there early in the evening, in winter, when darkness had already fallen, but there were still many people around who strolled and were enjoying the Park. I was struck immediately by the large presence of statues (whereby Oviedo is well known). The cutest and most well known of the Park is undoubtedly that of Mafalda, which was achieved during the visit of its creator Quino town.

  • A stunning park. So many varieties of trees, beautiful statues and winding paths. It's especially magical at dusk when the lights go on.
  • Nice spot to sit in. Lots of trees benches and dogs running about. Good to take the load off. It is beautiful considering it Is in the middle of the city. There are also some churrorias and snack stands. Kids park, fountains, a little skate park and basketball nets dotted around the park.
  • Great for kids: 3 playgrounds, for various ages (1-7), a skate park, a duck pond. During the new year vacation, there's a fun fair, great for young kids. It's small (7-8 different attractions) but has a good variety for age and taste. Sadly it only opens late (after siesta, around 17:30). Overall: Well worth a visit of you're in town, esp. with kids.
  • Beautiful little park. Well kept and spledid to while away an hour or two in the sun with a good book.
  • Beautiful park. Clean and well maintained. Loved walking in the area. Oviedo as a whole is a beautiful city.
