Ourense Thermal Springs, Ourense

(4.4/5 based on 460+ reviews on the web)
Enchanting visitors with its mineral springs and peaceful aura since the Roman era, Ourense Thermal Springs is a relaxing spa two thousand years in the making. The springs themselves consist of a series of thermal pools spread out along the Mino River as it passes through the city of Ourense. Soothe your muscles in the As Burgas pool, considered the crown jewel of the entire spring network. Stroll between bathing areas on pedestrian pathways, or even rent a bicycle to traverse the 20 km (12.4 mi) route on the opposite bank. For those with mobility issues or those desiring a quicker journey, a dedicated spa train is available between the center of Ourense and each spring facility. Keep in mind that while some hot springs provide free entry, others charge a small fee. Put Ourense Thermal Springs into our Ourense trip itinerary planner and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • Located at the margin of the river Miño, these waters springs are a last. Walking by the margin of the river is very relaxing. The first that we found are those of Chavasqueira. Them have public or private. If continue river bottom have them of or Muiño, public, to a kilometer the of town, private. To 150 metres the de Canedo, public. If not is want to go walking out a train tourist of the city. Part of the Plaza major. These waters contain many minerals and are very good for problems of bones and of skin, because its waters are rich in sulphur. Not them I recommend in summer since makes much heat in Ourense. When it snows, they are wonderful. I highly recommend them.

  • Crowded, pricey and nothing special...the water is luke warm and the locker rooms were crowded and tight. Go check out the public springs and call it a day.
  • If you go to ourense this well stop and enjoy the thermal baths: are well and is a must-see. They have charm
