  • To access the caves entrance you have to cross walk the iron from the chapel of Santa Lucia bridge or along the path of the escalerones, from the town square. The cave of La Paz has a complete tour of 236 m. spectacular samples of stalactites, stalagmites, columns and other limestone formations. The cave of La Viña has a single mouth of entry and exit, with a distance of 114 m. horizontally.

  • A monument geological in La Rioja, at the height of the best caves in the world. In addition, the village of Ortigosa well worth the visit. The whole sierra de Cameros is very nice.

  • The site is well. The caves are picturesque and my I loved. But access is full of steep slopes. Much up and down. A person with tension or heart problems is better than or is it planteen.y much less with motor problems.

  • Its limestone formations are not large but very interesting. Roots of the centuries-old Oaks that are several metres above the cave can be seen somewhere. Very nice environment.

  • Beautiful and with some good explanations of the guides. Not suitable for people with mobility problems. There are other casualties, some slippery narrow areas but the guides indicate it constantly, it is easy to inattention and finish with a shot of stalactite in the head

  • We went to see the Ortigosa caves without knowing what to expect, since other caves with much more publicity had not been much. But these caves, almost untouched, are the most authentic that we have visited. The Guide, explaining everything in a very didactic way, teaches you to all places and recesses of the cave. They are two independent galleries, a long and another smaller, in which you can see close formations. The journey is very pleasant and is short. It is a pity that photos can not be.

  • Perfect to finish a day's visit to the area of Cameros. Well preserved and explained by the guides... I know that does not depend on anyone, but they would have 5 stars if they weren't so narrow and low so you can enjoy more of the visit.
