  • As Castle, the conservation of what exists today and the enclave are excellent, (all are not retained) on top dominates the population of Oropesa, and together with the Parador (new palace where he lived the nobility) make a very well restored set. However in my opinion, would be missing a bit of better conservation of inner courtyards, or missing, worst preserved areas. What does not fit, I insist to my understanding, is that they wanted to give use to areas rehabilitated in a modern way, with exhibition halls, which have nothing to do with the Castle, or the environment, except for the local artists who may be exhibiting. (without going into the quality or not of exposures, as at the time of my visit there were 2, a magnificent painting; not so of an artist of iron and hardware)

  • It certainly is worth visit Oropesa and this fantastic Castle, perfectly preserved, and if it is possible to stay at the parador which forms part of the Castle, we did not and we regret not to do so because the site is beautiful.

  • Well restored castle with some little themed rooms, but with a battlements and towers with breathtaking views of the sierra, especially if this nevada, worth worth knowing it, together is the parador of tourism which has patio right at the entrance of the Castle

  • The castle is in good condition and has hundreds of years of history. The only disappointing thing was the ancillaries, which were cheap and unauthentic looking.
  • Where they let you wander all public, but as a downside, I've seen a castle, very beautiful, and with a good view, very dirty, and entries, although they are not very expensive, do not have any discounts for students, or with the European youth card , or anything. Still go and see what I liked, I hope to be able to repeat as the medieval fair
