  • The construction of the Church after the reconquest of the city on the Muslims, defeated by the King Jaume Ier in the 13th century (1242 or 1243). The building was dedicated to the Holy Sevillanas Justa and Rufina, whose party, July 17, coincided with the date of the Royal victory. The ship is a single nave on which, between the foothills of the collateral, open chapels. Overall Gothic invoice, the building bears the marks of transformations since its construction in the 14th century, including baroque and neoclassical style (16th and 18th). The Gothic belfry Tower is the oldest part of the Church (14th). Adorned with pinnacles and pierced with berries, it contains the oldest of Valencia clock mechanism and one of the oldest in Spain (early 14th century). Inside: paintings, stained glass, large organs. Classified property of Inreres Cultural since October 31, 1971. A must see.

  • Beautiful and well preserved Church. What less I liked was that not was very timely in the hours of opening.

  • Huge attention is very slender Bell Tower, the Gothic style, its construction was completed in the middle of the fifteenth century. At the corners of the Tower housed Dragons for spillway and water sculptures of fantastic beasts. Very beautiful watches that were installed in the year 1439. Be sure to visit you won't regret it.

  • Santa Justa y Rufina Church is a very welcoming community and I have been for several years in this city of Orihuela as monument is impressive, it has nothing to envy to others, the location is perfect because that is in front of the Town Hall of this city, and is well communicated, through the years the environment has undergone changes due to the urban development of the city needs , I am proud of this church for many personal reasons should be given more impetus to the bishopric of Orihuela parish should take this topic, must inform his religious works at a level most high, is doing will be good for the Church and for Orihuela. Thank you

  • If it is a beautiful church, but it is badly located on google map. and I'd like to rectify it, are marking the square overlooking the campus of las Salesas, so does City Hall is wrong, it must coincide with the Palace of the Marquis of Arneva.
