  • Nice structure and cloister and an interior with graves in wood of Kings and counts of the reconquest and Kingdom of Castile. The fact that are in this wooden added if only so made. Add the friendliness of the staff and will have a place to remember.

  • For lovers of the history of Spain, as in my case, it is a place of visit, apart from the numerous treasures that has within it. "The greatest", contains the graves in wood of Kings as Sancho III and Sancho IV "the strong", and counts as Sancho García that were so important in the reconquista and Kingdom of Castile. The cloister and the Gothic choir stalls are precious as well as the frescoes of Santa María Egipcíaca. The visit is done with audioguide, which can have time you want and unhurried. Finally, I want to mention the great work of the voluntary Lord that you catered to the entrance, for your kindness and willingness to clarify any doubts that us. Nothing more than that, in gratitude, bought several memories of the village of Ona.

  • Very beautiful historic medieval village for visit whit confort and services in century 21
  • A marvel. A historic/artistic/architectural treasure. And Antonio, volunteer responsible for the entrance, a well of wisdom happy to explain the history and secrets of the place. A true gift for the traveler with concerns.

  • Impressive monument. A former Benedictine monastery, there are remains of a huge farm, the vast wall that delimits the farms of the monks. Monument to Fray Pedro Ponce de León, a Benedictine monk, precursor of the education of the deaf. The monastery is also pantheon of the first King of Castile and the remains of the counts of the time which was just a County. It is worth to observe the acquitectura and art that forged the Cluniac Benedictine monks.

  • Only the Church can be visited and the cloister, audio guide and input cost € 3, the person responsible for the entry insists that it is to fund rehabilitation and others, which, is the volunteer. In 30 minutes you can see completely what I liked are frescoes of Balleu and several burials are curious rather than stone or Alabaster they are wood, the coffered ceiling of the roof that covers them mudejar style very cool.
