  • We've been in Carnival and we liked the visit, it is a historical place which is worth visiting with time.

  • Unfortunate tourist experience at Ona, precisely which are today celebrating the Millennium. At 10:50 we present ourselves in the tourist office so they should give us some information, previously already we had checked on the web that the Abbey Church and the cloister could visit from 10:30 am. What our surprise when while we were talking to the girl who is in office a man appears (we don't know who is that were not identified) which indicates that throughout the morning the cloister and the Church would be closed, and that if we wanted it to visit acudiesemos in the afternoon... and he says that is due to acts of Millennium... with all disrupted plans turn in the afternoon and Oh surprise! Again closed (16:50 hours) we went to the office of information and tourism and the girl tells us that he had no idea that it was closed, is worth mentioning that this girl had asked us our locality and to tell him that we were in Logroño says that if Logroño belonged to the province of burgos... This is the level and respect for tourists who spend there I do not think that let's never and will obviously recommend to everyone to avoid this visit.

  • I visited in late January with a few relatives and I loved it: the price of admission is 3 euros, a very nice person opened it us only to us Antonio, (I think it was a priest) who offered us, in addition to the audio guide, all our questions, both historical and cultural information; actually what is that you can visit is the Church of San Salvador and the cloister, but not the monastery which is closed. The dome is enormous, the admirable choir stalls, the altarpiece is magnificent, and impressed the eight precious sarcophagi hosting the remains of two Kings (Sancho wholesale and Sancho II the strong) and several counts and infants. Do not fail to visit the cloister and stroll the unhurried. Not in vain, this is the third monument of Burgos in importance, after the Cathedral and the monastery of them strikes. Don't miss it, you are or not in Ona.
