  • The inside of the church is stunning, beautifully maintained and very peaceful. Unfortunately my visit was marred by the old guy who sells the tickets. Everyone I've met so far in Olvera has been very...  more »
  • We could only see it on the outside, but it is worth to climb up to her, not only by the Church but by the views we have of Olvera. Stairs that lead you to the Church are bordered by flower pots with plants that make the rise, despite the tremendous heat that made more enjoyable.

  • The Church is located on a square just below the Castle from where it has a nice view. Originally Gothic-mudejar and remains part of the apse, but the present building is neoclassical with two side towers built in the nineteenth century. Imposing church that stands on the village's panorama visible from kilometers. Inside there's not much pay.

  • nice Church
  • Beautiful church of neo-classical style of the 18th, was built by the Dukes of Osuna, on the ancient Arab mosque. It has three naves covered with marble imported from Italy.  On the outside we can see the twin towers. Well worth visiting both on the outside and inside. If looks beautiful from any perspective among the streets, look at it inside is a marvel for the quantity and quality of its carvings.

  • Imposing church that rises high above the city of Olvera. Built on an old Gothic church, where is a part (seen in the image below) and is about a mosque, a neoclassical Recalling the golden age of Spanish Church.

  • Superb neoclassical building from the end of the 18th century, built by the Dukes of Osuna, on the site of an ancient Arab mosque. It replaces an original gothic church, whose remains are preserved in the baptismal Chapel. It consists of three large naves covered with marble imported from Italy.   Abroad he has two facades to the Plaza of the Church; the main presents two twin towers and the front end of the nave, in addition to the main entrance and two small doors for access to the towers. The side façade presents an access door.

  • Curious and beautiful white village, with its parish and Castle on top of a rock, dominating the entire region.
