  • When you have visited several wineries you have to pay attention to the details to know what makes them different from the rest. Valenciso is different for many reasons, but there is one that stands out above the rest: what led up to this point Luis Valentine is not only a passion, is a way of life. It's amazing to hear him speak and to realize that what this man gives us in the tour is not wine culture, it is a way of life that can not be understood otherwise. Recommended visit out of large wineries with multiple processing standard. Valenciso is right but in its heyday.

  • I have visited several wineries, large and small, throughout Spain, Portugal, Chile, but in Valenciso I have felt as if he were taking a wine with a group of friends. Far from being an impersonal visit, with the typical talk about how wine is made, Luis made a pleasant presentation, with humility and wisdom, his way of making the wine. After a very nice tour, it ends with an even more pleasant tasting. So that gave me the feeling that none of those who were we wanted to go. It is worth visiting them. And it is much worth the wine making.

  • Is it worth visit this Winery. Is away of them large wineries industrial with a process of production more artisanal, biological, natural and with care in the details. Very enriching visit, since it was one of the owners and great knowledge of the wine world is noticed. The Red Book is exquisite and the pink surprise.

  • Small neat Winery, with love and professionalism. A great red book made with Tempranillo and a delicate white Viura. I have been very well attended in the visits I have made. Keep it up.

  • Splendid red wine and a spectacular white. Great treatment. The owners show you the winery who after many years in this world have been able to create with a result of note. The journey is very interesting and you learn a lot. In a quiet environment is a visit to take into account to enjoy!

  • "La Rioja, tierra del vino, in La Rioja, La Rioja Alta this Ollauri and, in Ollauri, Valenciso. Valenciso is a young Winery whose owners Carmen and Luis get a magnificent wine with its gentleness, professionalism and "savoir faire". The first time my wife and I visited it was a real discovery for the two. We of course already knew a few but Valenciso has something very special. Where is the notability? Perhaps a compendium of sensations that are glimpsed from the front door; two beautiful doors, work sculpture made Heifer Juanjo, representing the nerves of the vine leaf; the building of the winery, with simple lines, the work of the architect Alfonso Samaniego and that merges with the environment; the warm welcome of Carmen and if Carmen is friendly and professional, Luis was not going on behind. Guided us to the winery explaining in great detail their operation. Concern and the purpose of their work is the get a reserve of high wine quality while respecting the environment avoiding the use of pesticides to combat pests with natural methods in strains, etc. Once the harvest arrives at the winery a selection is made and after Destemming of the cluster only grains of grapes become containers of stainless steel where begins its fermentation being controlled temperature continuously to keep it constant. At the end of this, the wine is transferred to French oak barrels, which, apparently, is that better going to the Valenciso, where rests the necessary time to finally complete its maturation in the bottle. Result of all this is an organic wine, exceptional, it overwhelms the senses, and that it is gaining ground on leaps and bounds between the "connaisseurs" in such a way that the critics of leading journals devoted to the world of wine are assessing him among the best. I encourage everyone who can, close to the winery and discover the spell that has Valenciso wine, elegance, delicacy, fragrance and flavor frankly subjugators and see in person what they have."

  • We loved the visit. The Winery is beautiful, us explicaron many things about the world of wine and we understood because Valenciso is in our home one of the favourites. I recommend this visit is completely personalized and nothing to do with each other much more tourist... This review take this opportunity to express our thanks to them, we hope to return someday.
