  • From its small and old port can make out, without effort, the city of La Coruna, the glass city. The island, part of the Gulf of Santa Cruz, with its castle, bridge and Museum, can be visited and never disappoints.

  • What a surprise to discover this small island at the foot of our hotel. The island tour is fast but really nice with a beautiful view of La Coruña and its lighthouse. Accessible by a footbridge. Very few people, and yet it was the end of August. The adjoining beach is not very engaging cons... But we were there for we walk around, so whatever.

  • Beautiful enclave which is accessed by a bridge pedestrian walkway that separates it from the "mainland". It is a small island from where you can see the Bay of a Coruña and part of the city and the area around the beach and village of the same name - Santa Cruz-. In his days he served as defense of the city of La Coruña, being also a family Manor of the illustrious, noble and aristocratic itself Bazan Emilia, Countess of the same name. Dedicated to the investigation today. It is a monument of cultural interest. Visit obliged.

  • The castle of Santa Cruz is one of the symbols of the City Council of Oleiros. It is located on an islet of the ria de A Coruña which is accessed by a pedestrian Boardwalk. It was declared of Cultural interest for its high historical interest, which together to its natural beauty and landscape, make this place a special place full of magic and history. The island has to her around with a coastal walk from where you can enjoy a magnificent and beautiful panoramic views of the city herculina, as well as Santa Cruz and its small port, which although today the number of sailors is minimal It was one of the most important of Oleiros from the 16th to 18th. The castle is built at the end of the 16th century under the direction of general Diego gives Navy, two centuries more afternoon remains abandoned until it is acquired in the 19th by the writer Emilia Pardo Bazán, which makes it in Manor House.

  • Today dedicated to the research and popular science (it is headquarters of the Center for University Extension and environmental disclosure of Galicia). Built in the 16th century by general Diego das Marine to complete the defensive system of the La Coruña Bay. Very nice and quiet.
