Beach
Papagayo Beach is a picturesque beach with soft, white sand and turquoise waters. The beach is surrounded by rock cliffs, although paths have been created for easy access. The water is great for swimming, even for children, as it is shallow and calm. Take your snorkeling gear and wade out to view exotic fish through the glassy water. Parasols and beach chairs aren’t readily available, so be prepared to bring your own equipment. Take a look at our Nerja trip itinerary planner to schedule your visit to Papagayo Beach and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.

  • Starting from Balcon de Europa there is a path down to this beach that is located between the beautiful cliffs. There grow much Tequilla-Agaves with high flowers where the young plants to grow. From the beach you can walk to Playa Calletilla and Playa Carabello between cliffs.

  • This small beach is located at the foot of the balcony of Europa. It is reached by a staircase. It is picturesque and interesting no doubt off-season to take some pretty pictures.
