  • Opposite Navia, crossing the bridge and after passing El Encino is worth diverting to see the small town of Ortiguera, its lighthouse and the views of its cliffs... and the beach and ria of Navia.

  • To get to the classroom and castro de Coaña, you have to be an experienced user of maps, have the help of a good co-pilot and your browser this very updated so if you are guided by the signs you have clear. Gives the impression of that is want to have hidden and not promote it. I wish that someone in the Administration take note and spend something on indicators and promotion of a site so interesting. With a little imagination the expenditure would not be very high.

  • In my opinion the beauty of these landscapes is unparalleled, possibly the more genuine and full countryside you can do at home. In a traditional and peaceful atmosphere that respects and preserves with pride and dedication both their cultural heritage as their traditions, enjoy excellent varied cuisine. The historic park of the Navia encompasses all the Asturian countryside since the birth of the Navia River (in Galicia) up to its mouth in the Bay of Biscay, offer three very interesting thematic itineraries and a coastal path that is the jewel in the Crown. As you can assume you have sea and mountain, cliffs and beaches, picturesque fishing villages and peaceful rural villages, all vestiges and traces of the past from the age of iron with "castreña" archaeology, to characteristic architecture of Indians which flourished in the late nineteenth and early twentieth Centuries area.
