Terra Natura Murcia, Murcia

2.8
#1 of 9 in Parks in Murcia
Terra Natura Murcia is a water park and zoo where you'll experience wildlife up close, thanks to invisible barriers and expansive, natural habitats where the animals run and play. There are two sections: the Iberian Peninsula and the African Savannah, with 50 species between them. You're free to touch and feed some of the animals, and informational plaques are available in English. Don't miss the bird of prey exhibition, where you can observe the birds in flight and even interact with them. Later, watch the sea lions perform tricks and then get a chance to swim with them--always a favorite activity. • Against all odds, we went with the 2 x 1 offer and had hyper well. Totally recommended. We went two days in a row and we could enjoy the zoo and aquapark. Rental of floats is not expensive, but not recommend it because to throw yourself down the slides and you give them. That Yes, if you see a lot of people, the best is to rent and avoid queues.

  • We visited a couple of times with our son this park and leave enough to be desired. Animals are as sleepy, seem lonely and sad. Lots of Sun and heat in the area, low humidity.

  • Located in Espinardo Murcia. It is this zoo with atmosphere of Indiana Jones that will enjoy the little ones. Ideal for an afternoon. The restaurant is an excellent choice. Access to disabled people and free parking. Ideal families or companies with an open mind. I recommend it

  • Great time here! Been going here every year for 3 years when on holiday and the facilities are great. Small but fun! Personally, I don't like big waterslides and adrenaline so there are about 4/6 slides which I am comfortable going on and which are great fun! Lazy river is nice and gentle, warm water and really relaxing. Love the big bucket and always will - always a thrill when it splashes. Accommodates all ages. Lifeguards are extremely vigilant here too. Best get there early to avoid big queues for rubber rings and sunbeds as they go pretty fast. Good offer for returning on the second day for free and we have used this opportunity three times now. Great day out!
  • We split our visit over the 2 days elwhich worked really well. Most of the animals were resting in the high heat of the day so we did the zoo section in the morning on both days then used the waterpark as our cool off. You can take your own food and drinks.
  • This year I was a bit disappointed with some details while I had always liked the place: people at the reception desk were lovely as well as those at the lockers. On the other hand, some of the members of the staff seemed to be earning less than the others (or something like that), dancing so serious by the swimming pool that you felt like diving or taking pictures staring at u in such a way that u felt like escaping!!! The water apart from expensive was close to hot and and the Magnum came out already melting. 2.50E!! Meanwhile, other members of staff did very well, security is good, and the place is nice. Unfortunately we didn't have time to see the animals so I can't tell, and we decided not to take profit of the offer coming back the following day. I hope next year things come back to normality and the staff manager has a word with some of his/her employees.
  • We had an amazing time. We were 3 families. The water park was clean. The toilets were kept clean all the time. The staff were very friendly the 6 kids had a great time. There ages were from 3 - 10. The big kids had fun also...our ages were from 28 - 73. 😉
  • The worst water park we've been to. Cost €120 for 2 adults 2 teenagers and a 3 year old. But I thought with it having a zoo and the extra day for free it might be worth it? How I was wrong. They then charged me to park in there car park only €3 but why? We then went into the water park where there was what can only be discribed as refugee camp style shelter jam packed with people sat on towels and some on beds. The beds also came at an extra cost! €5. When we found a cramped spot for us we paid another €4 for a locker, we also noticed the no eating signs everywhere. We then had a look around. It didn't take long. The park itself is rubbish. A few slides for the kids all crammed in one area, lots of people and the kids area was even worse, nowhere for the kids to play, more things to do at a normal kids park. Very poor. Also you have to pay for rubber rings at €5 +€1 deposit which my teens obviously wanted to go rides with. They had ran out! You also need them for the lazy river other wise the little ones get squashed. No need for a second day so far. So in the afternoon we went to the zoo. It was a good start hardly anyone there and looked ok. As we kept walking and walking and walking we hardly saw any animals. It seemed to go on and on and on but with not a huge amount of animals to look at. Positives - the car stayed safe Saved €10 because they ran out of rubber rings We managed to sneak our lunch without being told off or asked to leave I reached my 10000 step count in the the "zoo". We all agreed to not go back the day after.
