Terra Natura Murcia, Murcia

(3/5 based on 440+ reviews on the web)
Terra Natura Murcia is a water park and zoo where you'll experience wildlife up close, thanks to invisible barriers and expansive, natural habitats where the animals run and play. There are two sections: the Iberian Peninsula and the African Savannah, with 50 species between them. You're free to touch and feed some of the animals, and informational plaques are available in English. Don't miss the bird of prey exhibition, where you can observe the birds in flight and even interact with them. Later, watch the sea lions perform tricks and then get a chance to swim with them--always a favorite activity. • The place is well and very careful, friendly people, food to the level of your average clientele. What annoys of terranatura is that they are not able to make it profitable and costs us a paste Murcia taxpayers.

  • We approach by tram from the hotel to terranatura, we walk a little but a ride, the day was good, and we appreciated it, what I liked us most were the shows and talks about animals that they gave us, footwear that is necessary to take has to be more comfortable as possible, and camera to remember it later, visits can be made in the morning , but you always have something to see, so you do it in the afternoon, the sea lions and the birds show is worth seeing, we ate at the snack bar wetland, beside the aviary, the good and affordable meals, the only downside is that there was only a girl, by some very friendly with everyone but I could not yet , you advise the company who hired someone else because everybody complaining and the girl could run no more, I recommend to see it, but when she is open in the summer Park water I guess it will be much better...

  • In winter is fine, you go with children, you give you a walk and home. It is tiny, a couple of hours you've seen it whole. It is great for the kids, there are areas to feed the animals and you can buy food. In the winter the animals are more animated. There are several picnic areas and restaurants where to eat something. Best summer go to lend the evening, the shadows of the pools are much prized and fill up early. The animals during the day are Plumb. And between the donuts for the river and slides, and hammocks, better go with money, they charge for everything. To take the afternoon it is fine, for children and adults. You can put the refrigerators with food, drinks and snacks. The parking is pay, but 5 minutes walk you can park outside and you will get free.

  • Not well maintained. There were cracks in the glass where the tiger was kept and it looked like it may breakdown anytime. The path to go around the zoo involved walking between open areas where goats were roaming around freely and there is no way to avoid them. The animals looked they were in distress and were not fed properly. Children might love this but not adults. Disabled people will find it difficult to access some areas.
  • Went here for a fun day but had quite the opposite. The water park is small but okay, clean enough however they were running out of both sunbeds and rubber rings. We were more interesting in the zoo so grabbed some lunch before walking round. The food was terrible, we had self service included in our tickets however took one look at the food then left. Found a snack bar and ordered one chicken nuggets and chips and one burger. The burger was raw, chips cold. More worrying the nuggets were also raw. We didn't bother taking them back as the staff were so rude before, however saw one guy take his back on three separate occasions before ordering something else as he wasn't risking letting his kids eat them. Definitely wouldn't recommend eating here. Headed off to the zoo a little hungry. But it soon became obvious that the animals were hungrier. Also saw quite quickly that the they didn't have enough shade, water or fresh food. Their habitats seemed extremely small and cruel and a lot of them evidently hadn't been cleaned in a long time. We saw one member of staff on our whole walk round. Overall very upsetting experience and I will not be going again!
  • Fantastic day out for the family. Zoo and waterpark all in one.
  • Not big but well planned zoo. You can interact with some animals and feed them. Children like it.
  • Pretty expensive, EUR 90 family of four, but gave you the water park and zoo. Lunch at zoo was terrible - no service and bad food. Animals were alright, most facilities closed thou .
