  • Inside the Cathedral of Murcia, you can visit the small and very fine art museum, decorated in a kapitelsal and a part of an old monastery that existed in connection with the Church. The Museum was opened in 1956. Here is part paintings but also much more: an ancient Church Bell "La Mora", monstrances and other fine things in silver, sculptures of wood, among others, Francisco Salzillos "the penitent Jeronimus" (San Jeronimo penitente). Among the pictures are two altarpieces of the Italian painter Barnaba da Modena, as well otherwise not seen much outside Italy. In addition, works by Jeronimo Quijano, Fernando de Llanos, Lorenzo Vila, Nicolás de Villacis Arias, Domenigo Echevarría, and some anonymous artists. Along the way you can on the first floor of the Museum see the rest of a mural of the Virgin's coronation. The image which probably dates from around 1500 showed up when it restored and rebuilt the Cathedral's museum in 2005. The visit in this beautiful museum makes the visit of the Cathedral to an even greater experience.

  • The entire old town is cozy with many narrow alleys. Well preserved with several churches in the area. Unfortunately, all the information is available only in Spanish at catedralen. Also much shopping in the area.

  • Not very big, it turns into an hour. The rooms nicely arranged on two floors. The exhibited works are not of exceptional invoice but some of them are very interesting. The cost of 2 euros per person is justified.

  • If you go through the Cathedral of Murcia, you can not miss the Cathedral Museum, which allows you to delve further into the past of the same since preserves part of its original gothic cloisters (including some of the frescoes that covered its walls) and the ruins of the mosque which was built. You can see also excellent examples of Gothic painting (Bernabé, Modena), Renaissance (Hernando de Llanos) and Baroque (Lucas Jordán), as well as 3 wonderful carvings of the murcian school teacher Francisco Salzillo, probably the most prominent Spanish religious sculptor of 18th-century (just see his sculpture of St. Jerome, which transmits the feeling and the pain of this father of the Church You can be almost feel tension in your muscles and feel chest hit the stone that is martirizaba, even the hematoma in that area it is faithfully represented).
