Playa de Cofete, Morro del Jable
Categories: Beaches, Nature & Parks, Outdoor Activities
Playa de Cofete rewards you with fine golden sand, plenty of open space, and a mountainous backdrop, if you brave the somewhat difficult journey to the southern tip of Fuerteventura. Follow the dirt track to reach the 12 km (7.5 mi) beach, and make sure you bring everything you need for the day because this remains a totally natural place. The town of Cofete has a few facilities, but it remains largely empty outside of summer weekends. Beware of strong currents while swimming.
