  • The church is unique in its architecture and style, baroque style, neoclassic, it was really simple but inviting to see this church. If you are visiting Montefrio, you have to make this stop and enjoy...  more »

  • Pretty village in the middle of the olive trees, and with his Church to the rounded dome. Don't forget to go up to the second church perched on its rocky peak, the view of the village and the Andalusian countryside is gorgeous. Admission is € 2 and the person of the tourism office present at the scene is very friendly, and took his time to give us information.

  • Very unique and spectacular, Church is evident their relationship with the Pantheon of Rome. There are other churches of circular in Andalusia as Santa victory in Cordoba but it is not in the same style. Well worth visiting it.

  • Located in the heart of Montefrío, the most peculiar feature of this church is its plant, inspired by the Pantheon of Rome Agripa. Its immense dome has a diameter of 30 meters. It was built between 1786 and 1802, under the reign of Carlos III and his son, Carlos IV. The visit is free; the dome is dark, so it turns on for a few minutes and can thus appreciate it, just deposit a coin of €1 in a machine designed for this purpose. The opening hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 09.30 to 13.30 h. and from 19.30 to 21.00 h. (afternoon only for worship), and Sundays from 11.00 to 13.00 h.

  • Circular Church, with absence of decoration. Austere but that wonder when you enter.

  • The unique circular Church of Spain. Inspired by the Parthenon in Rome. If you go inside and you'll be awhile, better wrap up because it is quite cold. Next to the Villa, El Convento, the granary and the Roma penalty is of the five monuments in Montefrio you can not miss.
