It has a nice picture and known as we've seen many times as decoration in series or movies. Recently in the series about Queen Isabel la Católica. You can visit inside making the visit, I have not done, and you can see out from almost anywhere in the village. I recommend to do so from the Park of the solitude, meeting in the town of Mombeltrán, lively and busy place if nice weather.

The night view from the road is spectacular. Next to him there is a great Park for a drink and with swings for children.
No pude visitarlo por estar cerrado. Desde el parque que le rodea tiene una buena estampa. El foso estaba ocupado por varios caballos. more »I could not visit it to be closed. From the park surrounding it has a good picture. The pit was occupied by several horses.
Very nice on the outside but disappoints is in ruins
Very pleasant guided tour. Wonderful well preserved castle with very good views of Gredos and very good climate all the year. I recommend visiting the 5 villas
You can visit the Castle ⛫. near the entrance there is a small sign with the phone of the Guide making guided tours. I think that you can only visit with this person. It will be paid. The castle is very well-preserved. The guide explains many details of construction of the Castle and its history. Very interesting, worth a visit it if you are out there. You can then go walking in Cuevas del Valle which is close by, where it begins a Roman road of 5 km that leads up to the Puerto del Pico.
Very well preserved Castle, paea visits require previous reservation since it is private property
A perfectly preserved Castle and practically without restoring, which is certainly worth a visit. Man who teaches you explains it all very well with many details and anecdotes and very entertaining way.
