  • The Alcazar of Molina de Aragón is a castle in Molina de Aragon. The town is not in the Aragon region, however, but in Castile - La Mancha in the province of Guadalajara. The eleven Cid resided here and in 1129 it was conquered from the Moors by Alfonso I of Aragon. Presumably that's why the town is so named.
