Mahon Port, Minorca
(4.3/5 based on 1,500+ reviews on the web)
The second deepest harbor in the world, Mahon Port is known for its clear waters. The fortress on the shore is one of the highlights of this port, as well as one of the only clues that it was once of strategic importance in the western Mediterranean. Cafes and restaurants abut the shore, offering views over the water. The nearby beach has soft sands and deep, clean waters that attract thousands of visitors to the island every year. Make Mahon Port a centerpiece of your Mahon vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Mahon tour planner.

  • It is one of the biggest natural ports in the Mediterranean, a large fjord very deep, very long and very wide. It is worth touring it in one of the boats that offer this tour. Understand very well why from the Carthaginians (Magon, which gives it its name, was a Carthaginian general) England (the Admiral Nelson spent time here) all armed have coveted this port.
