  • We went in January and it is not the best date to visit the Cove, but still it is a very relaxing and beautiful place.

  • Cala Macarella is a nice beach, blue turquoise sea, clear water for swimming and snorkeling; sandy and rock beach; a little bit difficult to reach, there is a restaurant and a parking, to recommend to...  more »
  • If you come by car you have to leave it in the parking lot and get a very good road until you reach your goal. In the Cove, there are establishments for eating and drinking. To the right of the Creek there is a road that leads to a few caves that formerly had to be a bar. If you follow the path takes you to cala Macarelleta.A my opinion the most beautiful cove of Menorca. No you should visit these coves. They are the most popular island

  • Nice beach with turquoise water but dirty on shore. I was in august and it was pretty crowded. The sand is white but in water was a lot of dead plant parts. There is a place where you can buy food and drink. This beach is not in my list of the moast beautiful beaches in Menorca.
  • Smaller beach a short walk over the cliffs from Macarella. Very nice for swimming but beach is narrow. Also this is a nudist beach if you feel like stripping off. The path over the cliffs get's busy and is narrow so not easy if you have children in my opinion.
  • This is one of the most beautiful beaches in the island. You have to walk for a while to get there, but IT'S SO WORTH IT.
  • After Turqueta, the best cove in Menorca. Really nice turquoise sea and you also have Macarelleta. There ara kayaks available for a very cheap price (they offer you a jar to take your things with you). Last time I went, the sore was very dirty with sea vegetation and garbage, but it doesn't take any charm from it.
  • One of the closest I've found to Whitehaven beach in Whitsundays Australia. Crystal clear water, beautiful white soft sand, and soft breezes. Quite packed in the summer months though...
