The centerpiece of a historic village, Plaza de Toros de Mijas is a remnant of Spain's past. This oval-shaped ring is a gathering place for villagers and visitors alike to witness the spectacle of the bullfight and traditional dancing. The town's second most important gathering place is the church next door, the Church of Our Lady of the Conception. The chapel stands tall over the bullring, and combined with the dusty ring is a snapshot of Spain's long heritage. When events aren't being held in the ring, you can still go inside to tour the grounds and take photos. Visit the ticket window outside the ring to inquire about event times and ticket prices. The bill ring in Mijas is really old and sits on top of a hill near the Center of the town. Well worth a look - recommended. more »

There is a nearly square bullring at Las Virtudes, Santa Cruz de la Mudela, Ciudad Real province. Ps the choice is sol or SOMBRA, or midway as the sun moves round. more »

A superb village to visit. We travelled by bus to the centre. Lovely place to walk round. Shops and cafes to sit and watch the world go by. Would highly recommend. more »

After a walk around the panoramic walkway, stopped to have a drink at this plaza. Noticed there was a bull ring opposite so had a look see. It is a small bull ring that is not used very much these days. They have a stuffed bull to take photos with and a matadors cape. Interesting.

Quaint village on the top of the cliffs enjoy the breathtaking views from the hilltop church or explore the Alleyways before taking in a refreshing Sangria in one of the local eateries. A visit to the Bullring is also interesting.

Plenty to walk around and see. Plenty of tourist shops and plenty of tourists. The Chinese come by the coach load. But off season still worth a visit. I wouldn't support bull fighting.

Everyone goes there, views are amazing visit the little artisan jewellers located in the corner by the steps up to the road above drop in and say Hello to Pablo the lovely black cat. All items are hand made and unique..
