  • Visit of otherwise very interesting that it becomes imperative to understand our past by the magnificent explanations of a guide that combines vast knowledge with skills of communication and sympathy. Very educational and entertaining. Fantastic collection of lithographs: a small jewel that by itself alone would justify the visit. Very highly recommended. The only but we choose evil date. The Valley is fairly closed in this area, and even though it was sunny, soon is hidden, which together with the humidity by the proximity of the river... We spend much too cold. Best from spring.

  • We have visited this mining village, attracted by the curiosity and, honestly, we've been delighted. In addition to the peculiarity of the own site, the good condition of the houses and the lovely Church-"Cathedral", the visit has been very interesting interpretation of history that has given us Fernanda guide of this singular mining enclave. Your thoroughness, amenity, management language, etc. have made this morning today, a visit to remember, and, no doubt, to recommend to all our friends

  • It's amazing if you want to know a little more about the mining history of Mieres. A visit of an hour and a half that can be completed with a visit to a multitude of mineral elements. The Guide, Mª Fernanda makes it super fun and knows a lot from all of this. Must visit it if you are in the area.

  • A very complete visit thanks to the Guide, a professional extraordinarily well prepared, with a deep knowledge of the heritage presented and a great communication skills. Throughout the visit was a breakthrough and we take back all realistic and shocking insight into the social context and the way of life of the Asturian miners and their families since the end of the 19TH.

  • Curious mining town designed with corporate paternalism by the Marquis of Comillas, with its houses, commissary, casino, Church, all of time. Should be privileged these few miners that they had to be good Catholics

  • It is unique. The greatest example of industrial paternalism that I've seen in my life, and I've traveled all over the world.
