  • Had very curious to visit this place, I thought it was admirable that a Lord without having any idea has come up there, and that his age still follow this. You can enter inside and explore it, although I confess that I was some miedito, saw much insecurity. Certain PPR can see Don Justo ppr there working, that if, with a little bit of bad temper. I encourage you to see it!

  • Awesome great work which has made Justo Gallego Martínez, rightly is the Gaudí of Mejorada del Campo, a town that if not for this monumental building no one would know of its existence. This good man started work in 1961... i.e., 56 years ago, nothing less. Since then he has not stopped working, does so in very long days and Monday to Saturday for the Lord's day (Sunday) is to rest. He has done everything alone though, over the years, it has received some specific AIDS. As fair, good, a hole has earned in Wikipedia, I do not go in his frustrated desire to become a priest by tuberculosis that emerged victorious, you can read all about this man there. I want to concentrate on the building itself, is mammoth, he looks poor because you are missing many touches (i.e. not all), but if you start to analyze the structures, without having no idea of architecture, you'll see amazing things that this man without being architect or Mason did. I do like that they have said, it is as if an engineer has come to tell you how to build things, the most impressive thing is that the Cathedral has a tremendous central dome, complexity and size, after failing to finish details. There are no plans, designs, everything is in the head of fair. Has everything you may need a Cathedral: crypt, patio, spacious indoor area, murals, stained glass, etc. Throughout the life of this building has come to touch noses the grousers that say that it is a danger, that it should be illegal, blah blah blah. This building has passed several revisions of resistance of structure, architectural testing, and most importantly: the property is private. I will clarify this much for the short of mind: it's a person that lets you to their private property and you spend voluntarily, it is not a public building by the mere fact that everyone can enter. What makes me sad is that the day to just "go", they abandon the project and eventually pull it, if I had hand in City Hall would help to complete the Cathedral, as the more laborious it is already finished, the details missing only. Just wanted to add a complaint: when I went to see this site, a chick that walked by placing a wood threw me the anger and forbade me to take pictures... got really heavy with this aspect... do not send it to ride by being inside a religious building...

  • It deserves a visit. If you know that a single man has built it with his small two hands.
  • A touching story
  • Amazing what a single man can do with his ambitious!
  • Amazing!
  • I am impressed with this place. I was here 11 years ago. Don just received very friendly to me and made me a tour of the entire building. He was 79 years old. Your mission in life is to build this temple. Really a feat. Come and see what is worth. Very interesting.
