Marbella Old Quarter, Marbella
(4.7/5 based on 3,200+ reviews on the web)
Populated by well-preserved historic buildings among citrus trees, Marbella Old Quarter is the perfect spot for a walking tour along cobbled streets. A stroll of the quarter will reward you with quaint shops and architecture that spans the centuries. The area is dominated by edifices that once housed local government offices, such as the city hall, built in the 16th century. The House of the Magistrate is older still and can be found next to chapel, which was built around the same time. If time permits, enjoy a meal or coffee at one of the many cafes in Los Naranjos Plaza. • Excellent walk through the old town with its alleys, its churches, its shops and small houses painted white. At times, it feels like on a Greek island in the Cyclades, Mykonos or Santorini. Not to be missed.

  • found me a lovely place that runs quickly, you get small boutiques with interesting different and economic options. The variety of restaurants is also very wide. the friendly and warm people. If you have a car, you don't need to park at the private parking as there are streets where you can do it, that if you arrive early because it fills up and beware of the Blue zones in where you must pay for every 30 min and give maximum 2 hours. If you require a time short this is your choice since it is economic and closer.

  • The old town is just beautiful. Rustic houses shrouded in trees down and lend a romantic mood. There are awfully many restaurant bars and Cafés where you can eat well and drink. Gabz is above a small church and we were fortunate that there just was married which was crowned our evening in the old town of fireworks
