Dating from the 16th century, Iglesia Mayor de la Encarnacion is a church with ornate gold and silver decorations. Artists Pedro del Castillo and Salvador Galvez designed the main façade. Highlights of the church include the high altar, which is decorated completely in gold. Also check out the pipe organ, as it’s considered an important musical instrument in Spain.   • If you will be walking around in Marbella old town you should definitely not miss out this beautiful church. There is so much to see in it, that you will be happy to have seen it.
