  • 13/04 We walked with the Guide by the older part of Marbella, by narrow streets and alleys. At a small square we stood for Iglesia (Church in Dutch). Soon we went inside. Exuberant large altars, sacred images in niches and on the wall. It gave an impression. It was time to move on and the Guide lead us back to the bus.

  • The Catholic Church from 15-1600 's with the great gold and silverdekorationer. The outside looks unremarkable Church right out but the inside is absolutely adorable. The high altar is a magnificent creation in gold. The Church has several side chapels with altars and several works of art known as the frescoes. The Church also has an organ which is worth to see and listen to. Very beautiful church with many ancient works of art and are you in Marbella, it is recommended a visit.

  • A huge neoclassical church looms over the white houses of Olvera which is yet another town that enjoys a spectacular setting. The Iglesia de la Encarnación has two bell towers and was built on the ruins of a mosque. Next-door is the 12th-century Almohad castle that formed part the defensive network of the Nasrid kingdom. Alfonso XI conquered the town in 1327.
  • Preciosa!
  • One of the buildings most emblematic of Marbella. Beautiful church where there are them. Place for people who believe.
