  • Great walk down to the waterfront. Beautiful Salvador Dali statues. Definately worth a visit.
  • . . After walking through the traditionally Spanish Alameda Gardens, this large open piazza just next to the Alameda comes as a culture shock! But a nice shock. It is a wide open space with sculptures, benches, neatly trimmed orange trees and, of course, the ubiquitous palms, the latter so far safe from the ravages of the deadly picudo rojo beetle that has been killing some of them off. A complete contrast to the Alameda with its more enclosed feel, almost like walking through a cage of vegetation. Because it is so open, the Avenida del Mar can get hot in the summer through the lack of shade; then you should be sitting listening to the tinkle of water in the Alameda. But when the winter sun is out, there's not a better place to sit in Marbella! .
  • Amazing place, it'smany great to see many sculptures by Salvador Dali.
  • Pedestrian Avenue, in the center of Marbella, next to the Alameda Park. Nice place to walk. Some works of Salvador Dalí gives you a plus of interest.

  • In the heart of Marbella, just off the Park Mall and the promenade, lies this small Avenue that stands out by the monuments in bronze of Salvador Dalí. It has benches to sit. From time to time to celebrate events in this space (day fairs, markets,...). Ideal for tourists.

Where to stay in Marbella

While Marbella is traditionally known for its expansive resorts and hotels along the shores of the Costa del Sol, the old city center provides top accommodation for those seeking a more authentic Andalusian experience. A lovely mixture of white-washed buildings, charming plazas, and numerous options for dining and shopping, the old center is located within walking distance of the city's Paseo Maritimo, a tree-lined waterfront promenade leading down to the famous Puerto Banus.
